Country star Randy Houser got some exciting news this week, as his single, "How Country Feels" moved into the No. 1 spot on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck/USA Today and BDS/Billboard country singles charts. The song is the debut track from his third country album of the same name, which will be released on Tue. Jan 22.
"How Country Feels" also earned the distinction of being the first single featured on New York City's newest country music radio station, Nash FM 94.7.
“We really weren’t greedy on this record,” says Houser in a press release. “The album begins with the song my buddy Dallas Davidson wrote [‘Runnin’ Outta Moonlight’], and 15 tracks later it ends with the most personal song I’ve ever written [‘Route 3 Box 250D’]. It means a lot to me to have this many songs on one record to share with the fans.”
In support of his album release, Houser will be making a series of national appearances. He will be on the Today Show Weekend, TBA 8:00 a.m. PT on NBC, and Nightly News with Brian Williams, TBA, 6:30 p.m. PT on NBC. He will visit CMT Live on Tue., Jan. 22 at 7:00 a.m. ET, and visit The Daily Countdown with GAC's Suzanne Alexander at 12 noon ET. He'll also be visiting Fox and Friends on Wed., Jan. 23 at 8:00 a.m. PT on the Fox News Channel.
Starting on April 18, Randy will be out on the road with Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley on the "Locked and Reloaded" tour.
