Former UFC champion Randy Couture reportedly has signed a deal with Spike TV and Bellator MMA and there will be a press conference on February 5.
This is shocking news in the MMA world since Couture has been with the UFC for a long time.
Loretta Hunt of Sports Illustrated reported the deal and the link to her article is here.
Couture is reportedly going to be a coach on a new MMA reality show for Bellator. The former champion is now 49 and retired.
While this is exciting news for Bellator and MMA fans, how much better would it be if Bellator could sign Tito Ortiz as the second coach for the reality show?
There is no doubt that UFC President Dana White is none too pleased with Couture joining Bellator.
This is great news for MMA fans though who want the UFC to have competition.
