As the story would go, a professional Russian MMA fighter was left without an opponent on an Arrows card when the man he was supposed to slug it out with decided to not show up.
The announcer then asked the crowd if anyone would be willing to step up to take the fight on short notice.
Shockingly, a random audience member -- wearing cutoff jean shorts and a t-shirt -- stepped up to the challenge by taking off his shirt and strapping on a pair of gloves.
To make the story even more ridiculous, this random audience member earned a victory with a brutal first-round knockout.
Dmitry Dzubay, the audience member who accepted the fight on short notice, apparently had a little wrestling training prior to the fight, so he wasn't exactly a street brawler without any formal practice.
Many MMA fans believe the video was a set-up because Dzubay shot in for a crisp single-leg takedown in the opening seconds of the fight, which led some to believe that the fighter had much more than just a "little" training.
Additionally, Dzubay displayed proper posture when the fight was standing. Nevertheless, the video was a huge hit on YouTube, notching over 100,000 views in the first 24 hours it was up.
