In recognition of this being the 15th anniversary of the franchise's only Super Bowl championship season, the St. Louis Rams announced on Tuesday, its plans to celebrate the team affectionately known as “The Greatest Show on Turf” throughout the 2014 season.

Several celebrations and reunions are planned for selected Rams home games at the Edward Jones Dome, but the most significant celebration will come on Monday, October 13, when St. Louis will host the longtime rival San Francisco 49ers on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.

The Rams will wear their blue and yellow throwback jerseys in that matchup against the 49ers. The uniform combo is the same as what the team wore during the 1999 Super Bowl season.

Also, members of the 1999 "Greatest Show on Turf" team, including quarterback Kurt Warner, running back Marshall Faulk, and wide receivers Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt, along with many others will be recognized in a special ceremony at halftime.

Prior to the Monday night game, the Rams will host a party at St. Louis Union Station Hotel on Saturday, October 11.

VIP and general admission tickets will be available for purchase, and those in attendance will have the opportunity to hear from Head Coach Dick Vermeil and other members of the Super Bowl XXXIV champions.

The Rams will also wear their 1999 throwback jerseys when they host the New York Giants on December 21, as the team celebrates its annual Fan Appreciation Day.

In addition, the Rams, in conjunction with NFL Media, have launched GreatestShowOnTurf.com, a website that features hundreds of exclusive photos and dozens of highlights from the Rams run to the Super Bowl and beyond.

The website went live a week ago and will allow fans to register for the “GSOT Celebration” from the site.
