Ramona Singer and the cast of "The Real Housewives of New York City" were out on the town on Wednesday night, celebrating the premiere of their show, and during the debut party, Ramona didn't hold back when it came to her thoughts about her success on the show.
On the red carpet, the soon-to-be divorced mother of one was asked about the remaining originals, which are herself and LuAnn de Lesseps, and although they did both star on the first season of the show, and continue on up until the current season six, Ramona doesn't feel that LuAnn is on the same level as she is.
“Well, LuAnn isn’t considered an original,” Singer revealed to the NY Daily News on March 14. “She’s just a part-time Housewife, so really I’m the only standing original and the reason is I don’t play for the cameras, I play for me.”
LuAnn was also on the red carpet, and clearly didn't hear the comment, but that didn't stop her from being hesitant when it came to her thoughts about Ramona and the relationship they have.
“There’s always been friction between me and Ramona, but we’re in a safe place right now,” she said. “We’re not at odds for the moment. You never know with Ramona, you never know what you're going to get.”
LuAnn is right about that!
For more of these two, and what is sure to be a dramatic season, tune into "The Real Housewives of New York City" on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
