On Thursday, the "Real Housewives of New York City" star took to Twitter, where she revealed to fans she was ready to move on from her marriage to Mario Singer.

"I have decided to move on with my life without Mario. I tried my best to make my marriage work," Singer wrote to her 425,000 fans on Aug. 7. "I am excited for the new chapter in my life."

News of Singer's decision comes just one day after In Touch Weekly shared photos of Mario with his 32-year-old mistress, Kasey Dexter. Although the couple had been known to sneak around with one another in the past -- at least according to reports -- their latest couple outings had been extremely public.

According to an Us Weekly report, Singer recently avoided questions about her marriage during the taping of "The Real Housewives of New York City" reunion special.

"Everyone in my family is great," she said coolly. "We're together now, but I have a daughter Avery, who I love dearly, who is 19, and because of that, that's all I have to say on the matter."

Singer filed for divorce from Mario in Jan. 2014 after reportedly catching him at their Hamptons home with Dexter. However, in the weeks that followed, Singer began spending more time with her alleged cheater husband and appeared to have called off the divorce. She even hinted to Bethenny Frankel on her talk show, Bethenny, that she and Mario were back together and moving forward.

Unfortunately, Mario's latest behavior is far too much for Ramona to get past.
