Ram-Bro a leftist hero goes up in smoke

Christopher Dorner is quite an unlikely hero for the left. He aspired to be an LAPD officer, was a military man, held a cache of weapons, and he is charged with shooting children. Why did so many rally around this man? Was it because he said he was raging against “the man”? Which is humorous since in California the liberals are in control and they are the “man” he is raging against. Was it his manifesto that Anderson Cooper had three days before the first murder? If you read the portions left out in most reports he shows his support for many of today’s liberal icons. That is when they realized he was not a Tea Party nut but one of their own and it was time to circle the wagons.

Most of the support he received was anonymously thru facebook accounts. One of the more popular was “We are all Chris Dorner”, receiving 4,000 likes. Others were more open like the Reverend Jesse Jackson who stated “I understand you feeling of hurt and pain. The Huffington post ran an article from another LAPD washout supporting his rage. Charlie Sheen asked him to call and chat. CNN had a panel in which four out of five supported him with adjectives like superhero, exciting, like Django Unchained but for real? Chris Mathews returned the favor of a favorable mention by stating Dorner has media sense.

It would seem that Dorner had little common sense. When he was in the police academy he shot himself with his own gun and was thrown out of the program. He was reinstated possibly to maintain diversity. Early on his run from the man he tried to escape by boat and was unsuccessful, but he spent years in the Navy. When his supervisor gave him a bad report he retaliated and accused her of brutality. In his manifesto he even dragged up perceived slights from grammar school. The recurring theme in his manifesto is one of I am a victim, it is always someone else’s fault.

By pushing the victim theme and I could be so much better if not for everyone else makes him a kindred spirit with the left .No failure of policy or action is to outrageous not to shift blame to someone else. That is the left’s mantra, their touch stone, their excuse for failure. Like lemmings they heard the calling and had no choice but to follow.

Now that this” tragic story” as Chris Mathews called it is over the liberals will have to find a new hero to rally around. Maybe an ex Secretary of State who left four Americans to die in a foreign country because, it didn’t matter. Possibly a NJ senator, one who likes young girls in payment for security contracts. Someone that acts and thinks just like them.

I was tempted to use this space to get extra hits by stating that my columns are the only place for the truth today. But today’s internet users are wiser than that. The truth of the matter is I am exceedingly broke in the Obama economy and my good wife is too proud for entitlements. She is so...
