Is it the last day of a legend? The last day of ‘the beast’ that is Ray Lewis? One of the most fearsome linebackers and feared hitters in football has announced that this is his last season. Time beats everyone regardless of how tough they are.
Lewis and the Ravens take on the new look Colts with their rookie sensation Andrew Luck at quarterback. Luck may be just a rookie but he is the guy that replaced Payton Manning and here he is in the play-offs.
Add in that Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, who went 9-3 as interim coach while head coach Chuck Pagano underwent treatment for leukemia is hospitalized himself with an undisclosed illness and this game has more story lines than I have time to cover them.
