Rally to Raise the Wage!

At 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, Minnesota's Coalition to Raise the Minimum Wage will hold a rally featuring hip-hop artist Brother Ali.

Accruing a lot of buzz, the event is expected to host a large turnout of Minnesotans who are ready for a long-overdue raise to the archaic, virtually unobserved $5.25/6.15, and the stale $7.25 federal rate with which most employers are required to pay.

Next Tuesday's rally, held at the State Capitol, will be a final push to call for a minimum wage raise to $9.50 an hour as legislators return to session. Learn more about the event on the Raise the Wage MN Facebook page.
