Recently, Abdul Kamal was killed by Irvington police officers. Mr. Kamal's family demanded answers regarding the killing of Mr. Kamal. However, the family has run into road blocks and red tape in their pursuit to get the answers that they are requesting.

To assist the family in their pursuit for justice, the Irvington NAACP held a march & rally on Mr. Kamal's birthday to bring attention to this case and hopefully get answers as to what happened on that cold night on a dead in street in Irvington, NJ.

The march started off with Mr. Larry Hamm from the People's Organization for Progress. Many dynamic speakers took to the podium to encourage the crowd to rally and march for justice in the Abdul Kamal case.

Many of those in attendance held signs which stated "Stop Brutality", and "Justice for Abdul Kamal". The march started at Town hall in Irvington, NJ and ended at the street where Mr. Kamal was killed.

We captured the rally and march on video. Go to:
