Often the best treat you can give yourself is an immediate escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. RakSa in Culver City does that and more providing locals (and visitors) with plenty of options to soothe both your mind and body. Whether you prefer to be pampered or would rather take time to work-out the days stress, RakSa's menu of services (including classes and vegan eats) will make leave your soul feeling more refreshed than when you arrived.
The studios founder, Apinya Pokachaiyapat has brought together a number of different practices that have helped her through her own life. Although she holds degrees in mathematics, civil engineering, and creative writing, she is also a long-time Vipassana mediator and Reiki practitioner.
According to their mission, Raksa was created to provide a sacred space for education, movement, heath and healing. RakSa practitioners feel blessed to have experienced such a wide variety of healing methods and have made it our mission to bring this knowledge and experience to you by providing a community that cultivates the best healing experience. RakSa's staff are committed to serve with pure love, to live in the modern world while maintaining the wisdom of our ancient traditions.
The clean modern lines and contemporary sophistication of RakSa's laidback space was thanks to the watchful eye of Minya Radenkovic. Minya ensured that sustainable aspects were introduced throughout the studio ensuring no VOCs of any type are emitted throughout the space. All the furniture and fixtures are made of bamboo plywood or FSC certified wood and the Cafe counter where you can pick-up great Vegan eats is made of Paperstone.
Whether or not you are looking to fill your body or fill our soul with sense of release, consider making a quick getaway to RakSa the next time you're in around Culver City.
