Donna Wall/ San Bernardino City Animal Shelter

Cain is just a puppy; the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter tells us this black and white gorgeous male Boxer is only nine-months-old. He's so scared and has no idea why he's in a kennel, why all the other dogs are barking all the time, and why no one has come to take him home.

Click here for Cain's PetHarbor listing. When inquiring about this dog please reference #A470186. Cain entered the shelter on July 31 and will be eligible for adoption on August 8.

Before anyone goes shopping at a local pet store, please check out the beautiful dogs at the nearest shelter or rescue. Statistics tell us that nearly three million healthy and adoptable cats and dogs are euthanized in United States animal shelters every year; that's one pet every 11 seconds. Please don't let Cain become a statistic.

More information about Cain will be posted here as it becomes available. Why wait for the last minute if interested in making this dog part of your family. Additional information is provided by clicking here.

Please share Cain's story with your friends, family and coworkers. Sharing saves lives.

It only takes a few moments to forward this article onto a Facebook friend or someone at work. The message only needs to find a special person or organization who can help these dogs.
