Nicholas Cage with baby Arizona

An instant comedic classic by the Cohen brothers, Raising Arizona is a funny film about a couple who are struggling to conceive a child. H. I. McDunnough (Nicholas Cage) and Edwina “Ed” McDunnough (Holly Hunter) are the couple that want a child but are not able. Edwina an ex-cop falls madly in love with H.I. an ex-con, they both met while she was giving him a mug shot. A wealthy couple in their town ends up having quintuplets, H.I. and Edwina develop a crazy plan to achieve their goal to become parents, that is to steal one of the quintuplets from the wealthy family. The boy (Arizona) was missing and the family started a search as a reward for the boy to be back to safety. At the same time H.I. gets a visit from some old friends Gale Snoats (John Goodman) and Evelle Snoats (William Forsythe) both from prison. They both discover the reward for the baby and soon it becomes a crazy adventure in the quest of finding baby Arizona. The film is short and simple one of the earliest films from the Cohen brothers, but it is a delight to watch and entertaining.
