Today is the day to sit down, relax and enjoy something liquid. May 6 is the day to celebrate “National Beverage Day”! Whether you are alone, with a special someone or in a group, raise a glass and enjoy a favorite beverage.
There are all types of beverages you can choose to drink today. Some may rehydrate with a glass of water, others may grab a soda, fruit juice, vegetable splash or a cocktail. The drink of your choosing may be shaken, stirred or simply poured from a bottle.
Enjoy a pleasurable day relaxing indoors or outside. Sip and savor your pleasure whether it is a hot drink such as tea or coffee or a cold one such as a soda, beer or mixed concoction. Some beverages are fresh squeezed, frozen alcoholic, alcohol-free, tart, sweet, sour, dry and of course wet.
So wet your whistle no matter how you want to enjoy this splash of a food holiday today. Take time to sit back and take pleasure enjoying a drink, beverage or cocktail. Everyone deserves a little down time and this is the perfect excuse to celebrate all things that are drinkable.
Make a toast, sip, gulp or hydrate and remember to drink responsibly while you celebrate “National Beverage Day”!
