A star-studded, heartwarming fundraising brunch is planned for Sunday morning in Hollywood when the RaiseAChild.Us Honors program celebrates "Sharing the Stories of Our Families."

Rich Valenza and his family helped start Raise a Child

RaiseAChild.US is a nonprofit charity formed under the belief that all children deserve a safe, loving, and permanent home. The group strives to educate and encourage the LGBT community to build families through fostering and adoption to answer the needs of the 400,000 children in the nation's foster care system.

Studio City residents Rich Valenza and his family, helped co-found the group that helps families of all shapes and sizes. The awards ceremony and brunch will help tell stories of all kinds.

Executive Editor of Gay Voices at The Huffington Post. He helped support the weekly RaiseAChild.US “Let Love Define Family” series, and one youth, Ruben, is a foster youth who’s life was changed with this article.

Ed Begley Jr. and his wife Rachelle Carson-Begley will be in attendance along with many other celebrities. Bonnie McKee, Grammy-nominated songwriter will be singing. Valerie Harper, John McCook, Alec Mapa, Mary Beth Evans, Storm Lee Gardner and many others are scheduled to appear.

Tickets are $150 and $300 on Sunday, May 18 at 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the W Hollywood Hotel at 6250 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood.
