Raindrop Turkish House OKC hosts multiple events in coming days

Tonight: February 14th the Raindrop House, located at 44th and North Classen is having a social night, with dinner and other entertainment. Traditional Turkish menu : Doner Kebab, Lentil Soup, Rice Pilaf, Pastry and Kalburabasti for Desert. This is about 10$ per person. No reservations needed. Meal begins at 630p. Dinner is open to any age, male and female.

Turkish Cooking Classes will be February 17th, which is Monday night. You must RSVP for this, and for costs. call (405) 702-0222. Or email okc@turkishhouse.org. This class typically includes hands on instruction, recipes and tasting for a full, simple menu. Classes are open to males and females.

Dr. Kay Martin, CEO of the Francis Tuttle Oklahoma City Vocational Schools will be the featured speaker March 01 at the Raindrop Turkish House. The topic is "Women in Leadership" and this is an adult female only event. The cost is 10$ and there is no childcare. Dinner is served beginning at 630p. RSVP (405) 702-0222. Dr. Martin has been named as Raindrop House's woman of the year in the past, and as in the photo has served on the Oklahoma Commission on Women, a group developed to address and enhance women's roles and presence in Oklahoma government and life.

Raindrop Turkish House is a cultural and community center designed to provide various forms of education, development and community enhancement.
