Rainbow Loom and the intricate bracelets are popular with children. Embracing the popularity, the Chicago Wolves are joining with Learning Express Toys to bring the inaugural Rainbow Loom Expo to Allstate Arena on Sunday, March 23.
Rainbow Loom was invented by Choon Ng. Mr. Ng created the Rainbow Loom after watching his daughters make bracelets out of rubber bands. This toy has become a must have for children. From creating star-bursts to simple loop bracelets, kids enjoy spending hours creating and sharing these items. Rainbow Loom has been named 2014 Toy of the Year and Activity Toy of the Year.
For the inaugural Rainbow Loom Expo, the Chicago Wolves and Learning Express have many fun activities for guests. The first 2,500 people 15 and under to enter the Expo will receive an exclusive Chicago Wolves charm. Admission is free to the Expo with a paid ticket to the Wolves’ 3 p.m. game versus Grand Rapids.
Choon Ng and his family will appear at the Rainbow Loom Expo and host a meet and greet. In addition, Ng will unveil a new Rainbow Loom product at the Expo.
“We are excited to host the inaugural Rainbow Loom Expo,” said Mike Gordon, Wolves president of business operations. “I think our two brands align well bringing quality programming and entertainment for families. It should be a great day.”
“As the Rainbow Loom headquarters, Learning Express Toys is thrilled to partner with the Wolves for an afternoon of looming and entertainment,” said Sharon DiMinico, founder of Learning Express Toys. “It is both fun and fascinating to hear Choon’s success story in person. The day is certain to offer something for every age group.”
