Rain stars in 'Ninja Assassin'

 Warner Bros. "Ninja Assassin"

A new trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures' "Ninja Assassin" has been released through MTV News.

Produced by Joel Silver ("Lethal Weapon") and the Wachowski Brothers ("Matrix"), and directed by "V for Vendetta" helmer James McTeigue, it stars Korean pop singer Rain ("Speed Racer") as Raizo, the world's deadliest assassin.

The action film also stars Naomie Harris ("Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest"), Ben Miles ("V for Vendetta"), Sho Kosugi ("Blind Fury"), Rick Yune ("Die Another Day") and Sung Kang ("Fast & Furious).

According to MTV News, the story follows a young man named Raizo (Rain), kidnapped as a child by the shadowy Ozunu Clan.  Trained to kill with blinding speed and no hesitation, Raizo grows up to be the world's deadliest assassin.  But Raizo is eventually betrayed by those who trained him. After spending a few years in hiding, he emerges to exact his bloody revenge

The movie opens in theaters on November 25.
