Hazardous Outlook:

Flood Watch through Sunday morning...

Rain will become heaviest this evening and early tonight.Rainfall on the order of 2 to 3 inches will fall along the I-71 corridor. Higher amounts of 4 inches and locally higher will be common NW of the I-71 corridor. Any breaks in the overcast today could result in areas along and East of the I-71 corridor standing a chance to see strong to severe thunderstorms this evening and tonight along the cold front. These storms will enhance rainfall amounts as well as bring damaging winds, a brief tornado cannot be ruled out. Winds could gusts to 45 mph along the front and be slightly enhanced in any thunderstorms that develop. There is a very strong jet stream over head with winds gusting to 140 mph aloft. This means thunderstorms will not need much to tap into to become strong. Stay tuned for further details.

Some areas may experience very strong winds mainly on Saturday night and Sunday with the passage of this very strong cold front. Stay tuned for further details.
