What a perfect Spring day! Well, minus the strong northwesterly wind gusting close to 30mph(and causing brush fires in New Jersey) we reached 64 at Philly International Airport before 4pm. Overnight the wind subsides and lows will tumble into the upper 30s in Center City, but around freezing in the suburbs.
Friday will start off sunny, but then clouds will increase by the afternoon with rain by the evening commute. Highs will be in the lower 60s with a southeasterly wind around 10mph; this means that with an onshore wind we'll have more moisture in the atmosphere and hence the fire threat diminishes.
Overnight Friday we'll have some light rain with lows in the lower 50s, but come Saturday morning that will get out of here. We'll have partial sunshine with highs in the lower 70s before we cloud up and have some rain in the late afternoon once the cold front pushes through. Sunday will be sunny, but highs will just be in the lower 60; same deal on Monday with highs into the middle 60s.
