Today will be dry across northwestern Pennsylvania as high pressure moves overhead. As the high moves off to our east this afternoon, clouds will begin to increase ahead of an approaching storm system. High temperatures today will reach the low 40s.
Tonight, the storm system to the west of the area will move closer. Clouds will thicken this evening and rain will spread across the region overnight. Lows tonight will fall to the mid 30s early, then slowly rise overnight.
It will be cloudy with periods of rain on Saturday. Even with the rainfall, it will be a mild day with highs approaching 50 degrees.
The rain will taper to scattered showers Friday night with a brief period of dry weather expected Saturday morning. This will help to boost Saturday’s high temperatures to near 60 degrees.
Rain will redevelop across the region late Saturday, and continue through the day on Sunday as another system approaches from the west. Highs on Sunday will cool to around 50 degrees.
A strong cold front will move across northwestern Pennsylvania Sunday night with much colder, more seasonable temperatures expected for early next week.
