Raiders fan earns honorable mention in DirecTV's Ultimate Displaced Fan contest

With the NFL season just about ready to come to its conclusion on Sunday afternoon with Super Bowl XLVI, DirecTV held a contest dubbed the Ultimate Displaced Fan, which aimed to search for America's most hardcore football fans who follow their team regardless of where they live.

Though the winner was a 37-year old Detroit Lions fan named John Tracy, the Oakland Raiders saw one of their biggest fans earn honorable mention.

An Illinois native named Mike "Blaze" Blazik earned mention in the contest by showing his loyalty to the Silver & Black by sending out a video that included a tour of his "Ultimate Raider's Cave" that he personally built on his property.

The cave featured plenty of Raiders memorabilia, along with flags, a bar, a turf carpet and more.

The grand prize was an all-expense paid trip to Indianapolis, two tickets to the Super Bowl, the opportunity to play in DirecTV’s Celebrity Beach Bowl and more, while Blazik got himself a year's worth of DirecTV service and the NFL Sunday Ticket package.
