There were rumors circulating throughout the day that the Raiders were looking to deal QB Terrelle Pryor to the Seattle Seahawks, as it was believed that the team would release the quarterback on Tuesday, if they couldn't make a trade.
Well just moments ago, the Raiders confirmed to us that Pryor has in fact been traded to Seattle in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
General Manager Reggie McKenzie made the official announcement.
Pryor through for 1,798 yards in 11 games with the Raiders last season, which included seven TDs and 11 INTs.
Pryor was expected to make $705,000 next season, but with the Raiders having picked up Matt Schaub as their starting QB, it came as no surprise that Pryor was dealt, as the belief was that the 24-year old was not the future of the franchise.
For his part, Pryor had already expressed his desire to be traded or released.
