Ragazzi Boys Chorus, the music education and choral arts performing company and organization, invites boys, ages 7 through 10, to attend low-key, stress-free, small group auditions.

Auditions will be held through September in Redwood City.

Boys will participate in singing games and other activities, during which they’ll sing in groups and individually. No singing experience is necessary but appointments are required.

Ragazzi Boys Chorus is dedicated to providing performing opportunities for boys, and to their music education. Its mission is to produce great choral music and help boys become young men of character and distinction.

The Ragazzi Boys Chorus is open to male voices ages 7 to 18. Although the choir is limited to boys, they have performed with the Peninsula Girls Chorus as well as the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Symphony, Opera San Jose, West Bay Opera, Peninsula Symphony, Masterworks Chorale, and the Stanford University Symphonic Chorus, and have toured throughout the United States and internationally.

Founded in 1987, Ragazzi performs traditional and contemporary works. Singers are divided into five choral groups with increasing levels of musical challenge and reward. Boys advance from the training levels to the performing and touring.

The Ragazzi Boys Chorus will be performing at the 150th Celebration of Ministry for St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Redwood City on September 13.

St. Peter’s Church is home to the choral group for the boys.
