Horse racing’s Triple Crown viewing parties

Where as we, here in Baltimore, have access to going to Pimlico Race Track for the Preakness Stakes, there are few of us who will go to Louisville, Kentucky for the Kentucky Derby or Elmont, New York for the Belmont Stakes. You now can enjoy the adrenaline of these races, the dressing up; men in fitted suits, bow ties, pocket squares and a fedora and the ladies in the best and biggest hats to accompany their sundresses and comestibles/libations reflecting each region. Where you ask? Ryleigh’s Oyster Hunt Valley in Timonium has partnered with Sagamore Racing and Maryland Horse Radio to create 3 viewing events, each specific to the Triple Crown horse races.

What you can expect at these viewing parties is a live performance call to race, best dressed contest with exclusive prizes from Sagamore Racing and incredible fare by Chef Patrick Morrow themed to each race’s region.

There are VIP opportunities at all three races for the Three Diamond Club members who RSVP in advance. Club membership is free at Sagamore Racing General Manager, Tom Mullikin said, "We look forward to this event series with Ryleigh's Oyster to celebrate Maryland Horse Racing and provide our Three Diamond Club with opportunities to enjoy Triple Crown season together. This will be a fun way to connect old and new racing fans, to share our pride for Maryland, and excitement for the sport we are passionate about."

Entry into these viewing parties for the 2014 Triple Crown is free and open to the public.
