Eat and drink
Sample some of the area's best food at Taste of Racine: pizza, gyros, sandwiches, ribs, Asian food, ice cream and much more. This annual benefit for Family Service of Racine features some of the best food samples from more than a dozen area restaurants plus entertainment all day long, including family activities and music from King of Clubs, Group Therapy and 2 Week Notice.
Taste of Racine runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Festival Park, 5 Fifth St., Racine. Admission is an easy $3 for adults. Free for kids ages and 12 and younger. Tickets for food items are 50 cents apiece.
Climb off the calories
The Friends of the Wind Point Lighthouse invite everyone ages 6 and older to climb to the top of the 108-foot structure for incredible views (no sandals or flip flops). While you're there, visit the Fog Horn House museum right next door.

The Browns Lake Aquaducks, a national champion, not-for-profit water-ski team, cap the 2013 season with a trio of free shows at Fischer Park, Highway 11, Burlington. These exciting water-ski shows feature jumps, stunts and dancing.
The Thursday junior show starts at 5 p.m. followed by the main show at 6:30 p.m. Performances on Saturday and Sunday start with the juniors at 4:30 p.m. followed by the main show at 6 p.m.
