The truth is out and it isn't pretty. Harry Reid made racist comments about President Obama . This morning, Fox News America's Newsroom's Bill Hemmer asked multiple times to confirm that the NAACP accepts Harry Reids racists comments and is not offended, Hilary O. Shelton, Director of the Washington Bureau of the NAACP flat out stated, "yes..."
Now listening to this, watching it unfold, I'm not shocked nor surprised. Given the NAACP, the CBC (Congressional Black Caucus) and all the Democrats in Washington it is now acceptable to make racists statements; so long as it is in support of a person of color according to Hilary O. Shelton.
Listening to the members of the CBC and NAACP and even the Washington Democrats it is now open season on race and they will not stand in the way. Or is it just if the racist comment comes from the leadership of the Democratic party, leaders of the civil rights movement or of course, anyone of color? Yes, that's the ticket!
It is typical of those in the CBC, the NAACP, Washington Democrats and those of color to enjoy and flaunt their duplicity. Even Whoopie Goldberg said it is acceptable for black men and women to say insensitive and racist remarks to one another because they are black on black. However, it is abhorent if it comes from a Republican like Trent Lott, anyone involved in the Tea Parties, or anyone against President Obama's policies; because that's racist and conservatives want more slavery, according to Bill Clinton. So can we as Americans confidently take from the NCAAP that making insensitive and racist comments are now acceptable and not offensive because we as a nation have come a long way oin this issue? Can we confidently make racial slurs and insensitive remarks because they aren't even offended by Harry Reid's comments .His comments of
Come on America, racism no longer exists. We elected Obama President, who in Henry Reids words to justify the electability of a candidate as
light skinned ...with no Negro dialect. Unless he wants one.
So what is Henry Reid truly saying? That dark skinned with Negro dialect candidates are not electable?
Yet we now have the permission of the NAACP, the CBC and the Democrats in Washington that we can claim we misspoke and had an awkward statement without being driven out of elected office, without being sued, without any reprocussions at all!
Oh, but you have to be a Democrat. That's the kicker.
Is this a rant? Maybe. But words mean things and our elected officials and those who hold power over them only live for the moment. Their words are only important when they say it, not in the future.

Three questions scream out for answers here.
1. Where is Al Sharpton and his usual condemnation?
2. What are Jesse Jackson's thoughts on this incendiary issue?
3 Isn't the word "COLORED" as in NAACP considered racist?
VERY WELL WRITTEN!!
