Rachel Zoe drops out of Fashion Week: Family comes first

Rachel Zoe may be known for working her butt off on various fashion and styling projects, but her husband convinced her that it was time to have another baby. Now, she has to balance running a successful business with having two children. If that wasn’t enough, she now has to say no to things. According to a new Bravo report published on Feb. 4, Rachel Zoe is now revealing that she isn’t showing at Fashion Week this year because of her newest son, who was born just before Christmas.

"As a new mother, my newborn son is too young to travel with me, and I’m unable to leave him for the amount of time required to appropriately prepare for the show in New York,” she has revealed to Women’s Wear Daily. Of course, Rachel has been showing at Fashion Weeks around the country for several years, but now that she has a new baby, she isn’t about to choose her business over her family.

However, Rachel isn’t taking some time off just because she can’t show at Fashion Week. "I know I'm exhausted when..I talk into my NARS compact instead of my phone #sleepdeprived #workingmom #worthit,” she tweeted. Plus, her new collection is almost ready to go. Her latest collection is all about "French bohemia with mod elements" adding, "I couldn’t be more excited about this collection."

What do you think of Rachel taking some time for herself?
