Rachel Zoe has cancelled her New York Fashion Week show, which was scheduled at noon on Feb. 13, at The Salon at Lincoln Center, according to a Jan. 31 WWD report. The celebrity fashion stylist and mother is choosing to spend quality time with family. “While I look forward to New York Fashion Week each season, I’ve made the difficult decision to move our fall 2014 runway show from Feb. 13 in New York to a later date in Los Angeles. As a new mother, my newborn son is too young to travel with me and I’m unable to leave him for the amount of time required to appropriately prepare for the show in New York,” she said.
She may be bowing out of Fashion Week this season, but do not count Zoe out for September. “I look forward to being back on the NYFW calendar in September,” the stylist added. “Market will proceed on Feb. 10 in NYC as planned.”
E! News reports that Zoe gave birth to her second son, Kais Jagger on Dec. 22, and that she and her husband Roger Berman are also parents to 2-year-old son, Skyler. Zoe’s new collection is reportedly inspired by a très chic Parisian woman in the sixties, featuring a combination of “French bohemia with Mod elements,” including tailored jackets, mod shifts, houndstooth, plaid and textured tweeds, WWD reports.
