Rachel Ray joins Michelle Obama in obesity awareness efforts

Healthy nutrition and physical activity are at the root of Michelle Obama's Let's Move! Campaign.

Yesterday First Lady Michelle Obama was joined by Rachel Ray and 400 elementary students in Clinton, Mississippi to celebrate new healthier school meals being served in schools across the nation.

A cafeteria cook-off was held, with the results being shown on the March 11th edition of "The Rachel Ray Show."

This visit to Mississippi was the start of a two day tour by the First Lady to celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of her Let's Move! Campaign.

Today in Chicago, Michelle Obama unveiled "Let's Move Active Schools", which is a new private-public partnership aimed at helping schools find low or no cost ways for students to get the recommended hour of exercise every day.

First Lady Michelle Obama is stepping up her efforts to help kids be more active and eat healthier in order to combat the onslaught of childhood obesity in our nation and to give our children a chance to grow up healthy and strong.
