Rachel Pearl wants to help you with your New Year's Resolution

January is generally a time when people try to take their New Year’s resolutions seriously – before after-Valentine’s day chocolate sales mess everything up! With so many folks heading to the gym, Nashville musician Rachel Pearl released a new music video last week entitled Workout Anthem.

You can check out the catchy pop song, and aerobics-inspired video, here.

While Pearl made and released the video specifically to give a boost to many people who are heading back to the gym this month, her own resolutions are not fitness related.

She says:

I want to love people like crazy in 2013. Like mad!

Every year I learn more about music, myself, and life... I did that in 2012.

I want to keep that up and add a challenge for myself to make everyone feel special

I want to be more patient with people in general... day to day I want to be a better listener and perceive when people need a little extra time and attention. I also want to be an artist that is generous with her fans. I'm always looking for new ways to encourage, excite, and inspire.

I have plans to do more music videos as well and beef up my ukulele vids because there are so many new players out there right now.

Aside from checking out her videos, fans can get a dose of Rachel Pearl on Noisetrade. Half of her last self-titled album is available as a free download on the site.
