Rachel McAdams has split from actor, Michael Sheen. On Feb. 27, Us Weekly confirmed that the "Morning Glory" actress and her "Breaking Dawn" actor beau have called it quits after over 2.5 years together. Their relationship began slowly and progressed from a solid friendship to a romantic relationship, something that McAdams says was "great."
"Michael and I didn't get together while we were filming Midnight in Paris, which I feel strongly about not doing when I'm working. We became quite good friends, which I think is a great way to start. I felt very blessed to have made a Woody Allen film in Paris together," McAdams said in early 2012.
Rachel McAdams' split from Michael Sheen seems sudden and details as to what went wrong are not available at this time. McAdams and Sheen were a good fit and many thought that they would end up tying the knot, but before an engagement ring was presented, a break-up was reported.
McAdams was engaged to her "Notebook" co-star Ryan Gosling and many fans were simply heartbroken when the two split in 2007. She generally has long-term relationships but she has never been married.
