Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen split. Page Six of the New York Post broke the news on Feb. 27. The actors broke up after dating for two years. It looks like this isn't a "Notebook" romance for Rachel.
Rachel and Michael made their relationship public in October 2010. They came out as a couple during the time they finished filming a Woody Allen comedy. The pair first met at a party for Sheen's "Beautiful Boy."
The 34-year-old actress told the Sunday Telegraph that she didn't date the 44-year-old actor until "Midnight in Paris" wrapped. They wanted to focus on their work before getting involved.
McAdams and Sheen became good friends on set. She told the Telegraph that he became her best friend. McAdams added that communication and trust is important in an relationship.
There hasn't been a reason behind the Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen split. Long distance could be the reason for the breakup, though. McAdams said in interviews that they tried their best to keep in touch while apart.
