2014 spring season- Week 1-April 15th-April 27th


Rachel Martin- Old Town- softball- Hit a double, homer, and had four RBI plus pitched a complete game allowing only four hits and striking out six in 15-1 victory over Orono. Pitched a two hitter and struck out 12 in 16-2 victory over Caribou. Had two hits in 13-0 win over Caribou.

Martin is the fourth student/athlete from Old Town high school to earn athlete of the week. She joins Garrett Libby (1-22-12), Ethan Swedberg (10-7-12), and Kendra Hayward (6-9-13) as Coyotes that have captured the honor.

Runner up

Brooke Dugan- Oceanside- softball- Had a double, homer, and four RBI in 7-3 victory over Camden Hills.
