It takes awesome effort to be crowned ‘The Biggest Loser’. If you aren’t convinced, ask Rachel Frederickson.

The former athlete who had been suffering from obesity at age 23 after she put on 260 lbs arrived on stage on Tuesday in a different self.

The Washington Times said on February 5 that Frederickson was barely recognizable when she walked in after cutting down weight to just 105 lbs. In the process, she also got to win $250,000 by winning the title of The Biggest Loser.

The former athlete was able to shed almost 60 percent of her body weight, and has got back her slender figure. Attired in a silver dress, she charmed the show.

The show zeroed in on three finalists and Rachel was proclaimed winner. Her weight loss prompted even celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels to exclaim 'Oh my God!' as soon as Rachel walked on to the stage.

Her reaction showed that she couldn’t believe she had indeed won.
