Actress Rachel Bilson has a toned, fat-free physique, but that's not because she's a slave to gym workouts or excessive dieting.
"I’m not into the gym," Bilson told UK Women's Health. "I prefer dancing or tennis. I’m not great, but I’m trying to get better."
Rachel makes an effort to eat well, but isn't obsessive about dieting. "I don’t do the super-clean-living L.A. thing," she says. "Everyone is obsessed with kale and hiking, and there’s a massive amount of juicing going on."
Bilson, who loves to cook, enjoys preparing healthy chicken dishes such as chicken tacos with homemade guacamole, but also regularly indulges her junk-food cravings. "My guilty pleasure is Flamin’ Hot Cheetos," she says. "And I’m obsessed with cereal."
While most Hollywood actresses are terrified of looking older, that's not a problem for the youthful 5-foot-2 Rachel, who's often mistaken for a teenager.
"I was flying back home into LAX the other day and the security guard at the airport stopped me and said, 'Honey, where’s your family?' " Bilson recounts. "And I’m like, 'I’m 31!' Maybe when I’m 40 I’ll appreciate it, but as I get older and get wrinkles I’m worried it’ll be, 'She’s the weirdest-looking teenager I’ve ever seen.' "
Rachel, who is engaged to actor Hayden Christensen, wants to age gracefully and naturally, and has no intention of getting plastic surgery.
"I envy the sensibility in Europe, appreciating beauty in women as they age," she says. "I’m going to go that way. I might dye my gray hair for a bit, but beyond that the buck stops. I’m not having any work done."
Bilson, who shot to fame for playing Summer Roberts in hit TV series "The O.C.," says her main goal over the next few years to start a family. "My to-do list is to have kids," she says. "I definitely want kids."
