Rachel Arianna's mission: Walking Away with your Heart

Not since Shirley Temple has there been such a cute, precocious nine year old that could do it all: singing, dancing, modeling and acting. Say hello to the multi-talented Rachel Arianna, whose new single Walking Away With Your Heart is being released today.

Co-written with Cofield Mundi and produced by one of the industry's elite, Andrew Williams, who has also produced Five for Fighting, Jessica Simpson and Colbie Caillat, the new single is a catchy little number that will be featured in the upcoming indie film Lies I Told my Little Sister, in which this talented young lady plays a supporting role. The film is directed by William J. Stribling.

"It is a song about releasing your imagination, having fun and working together as a team,” Rachel says, “with everyone having fun, enjoying and loving each other. The theme of a ‘heart living love’ came to me when I was participating in the Jump Rope for Heart charity event at my school.”

Rachel will be shooting a video for the song with Traci Goudie, director of the video for Hunter Hayes’ hit Wanted, which won a 2012 American Country Award for Best Music Video/New Artist.

The industry veterans that Rachel has worked with recently have high praise for the young performer, who also played the role of “Annika” in a recent off-Broadway production of “Pippi Longstocking” and whose dancing talents were featured in a commercial for PediaCare children’s cold medication. Rachel has also received her first endorsement deal with Sennheiser Microphones.

Goudie says of Rachel, “I am so excited to work with Rachel and making sure her vision for her music video for ‘Walking Away With Your Heart’ comes to life. She is such a talent.”

Williams, the song’s producer, says, “A songwriter writing songs and singing this good at age nine is a rare find indeed.”

Stribling adds, “A lot of directors dread working with child actors, but they clearly haven’t worked with Rachel. Rachel is way too smart and talented for her age and I plan on riding her coattails to fame and fortune. Do not underestimate this girl.”

After listening to this tune, I think the song title reflects what this multi-talented nine year old is about to do with pop fans all around the world.
