Sunday, August 23rd was National Go Topless Day, an event promoted by the Raëlians, a UFO cult founded by a former French sports-car journalist and test driver named Claude Vorilhon (who changed his name to Raël after a purported 1973 encounter with a space alien named "Yahweh"). While the Raëlians are best known for the unsubstantiated claim of having cloned a human being in 2004, sensuality is also an important part of the sect's dogma.
