Rí Rá March specials: 40 percent off for locals, Guinness-inspired mixed pints

Good news for Las Vegas locals: Rí Rá Irish Pub is offering 40 percent off lunch and dinner every Friday in March.

If you’ve never eaten at Rí Rá, a lively restaurant that dishes up the real taste of Ireland, you’re in for a Mi Daza surprise. (Mi Daza is Irish slang for excellent food.) In fact, the food is so good you'll probably want to return over and over again so that you can eat your way through the menu.

This examiner recommends the Irish Benedict—a version of Eggs Benedict that consists of twin pan-fried potato pancackes, Irish rashers, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, hash browns and grilled tomatoes. Also check out the pub’s Emigrant’s Corned Beef & Cabbage that features house-brined brisket, braised cabbage, mashed potatoes and Irish parsley sauce.

Other March food and drink specials, no matter which state you hail from, include Guinness-inspired mixed pints, six different 16-ounce variations on the Guinness pint for $7 each: The Black Smith, half Guinness and half Smithwick’s; The Half and Half, half Guinness and half Harp Lager; Black Fog, Guinness with a splash of Chambord; Snakebite, Guinness and cider; Guinness Sin, Guinness and Sin City Ale; and Midnight Maria, Guinness with a splash of Tia Maria.

Also, don't forget St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner. Rí Rá Las Vegas will hold a St. Patrick’s Day festival March 16-17 with live music beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16. Check out their website for the festival lineup of entertainment.
