R-CATS go on the road looking for kingpins (Video)

The R-CATS program specializes in rescuing "alley" cats, but on Saturday and Sunday, they're heading back to the alley...bowling alley, that is.

On February 9 and 10, volunteers and several adoptable cats will be at King Pin Lanes in Rome from Noon until 3pm each day for their Meet and Greet Adoption Event. The goal is to match felines with families, but those who are unable to attend can view R-CATS kitties for adoption on Petfinder.

R-CATS' adoption application process usually takes a couple days; a veterinarian reference and two non-relative personal references are required. A $50 adoption donation is requested to help offset the cost of providing care and veterinary attention. Landlord permission letter is required if prospective adopters rent.
