· Robert Hight on crew chief Mike Neff: “Mike really has a great tune-up this year and we are starting to get into a really comfortable groove. He is one of the best crew chiefs at the track. He will get the most out of a tune-up and track conditions, and that gives you so much confidence as a driver. I know that I just have to do my job. If I have a solid reaction time and keep it in the groove, we have a great chance of getting a win light. It is a lot of fun to drive a Funny Car that just pulls the whole way down the track and Neff will give you a race car like that.”

· Tommy Johnson Jr. on his return to the driver’s seat: “It all came back pretty quickly. The biggest thing is probably that the cars accelerate a little harder on the top end than they used to but that hasn't been too difficult to adjust to. Every run I get more comfortable and three races in I feel like I'm doing pretty good. I'm probably back to 90 percent. I set the bar pretty high for myself, so it's going to take a lot to make up that last 10 percent.”

· John Force on his love of racing: “Man, I love it out here and I’m hooked and maybe it’s pathetic. I’m scared to death they’ll take it away from me and my kids so I do the best I can.”

· Courtney Force on luck in Vegas: “I hope we can roll over my semi-final round appearance from Gainesville into the Vegas race this weekend and take home a win. We’ve got a great car and this Traxxas Ford Mustang is showing improvement at each event. This track has been lucky for us in the past, I’m excited to get out there and see what kind of numbers we are capable of laying down.”
