Quote of the day December 22nd

The spirit of America
The spirit of America
As American as a Snowman

This statement is so true if you think about it for a minute. Something is missing that you can't quite put your finger on it, because it never really mattered, until the Christmas season. Is it love? Hope? Faith? Is it the magic of the holidays that sends a mystical wind through the empty, missing, part of our hearts  that reminds us that something important is missing? Is it reminding us to remember our Savior, our loved ones, reminding us that if we have faith and truly believe that miracles are there waiting for us. Waiting to fill that missing, lonely, piece of us.

Isn't it funny that at Christmas something in you gets so lonely for - I don't know what exactly, but it's something that you don't mind so much not having at other times.

Love, kindness, and hope are things that truly matters all year but sometimes we forget to look for them and show them. I've noticed the same thing on some people's articles in the examiner -- but not Ms. Locascio's. Thank you Jennifer for reminding us and for showing your love, kindness, and hope!
