Quote of the day December 17th

To most of us Christmas is that warm fuzzy feeling of all things good. Enjoy it while it is here, unfortunately it doesn't last all year long.

Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childhood days, recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth, and transport the traveler back to his own fireside and quiet home!

-Charles Dickens

You must have had me in mind with this quote. I am the older (getting older) man and Christmas always takes me bake to my child hood. I remember leaving Santa cookies and milk, laying awake all night long waiting until the appointed hour identified by my parents as ok for us kids to get up, and the excitement of the all of the packages. My parents were really into Santa and the "big" gift under the tree from Santa. I can still remember some of those "Santa" gifts and can only hope that I properly thanked mom and dad for helping Santa make every X-mas a special morning for me.
