Quote of the day December 15th

What a wondrous time in childhood, believing in Santa Claus. Do we have to stop believing? No, because it is within that believing that keeps the magic alive in each one of us. For when we believe we are blessed with the visits that go along with that magic. Encouraging children to keep this magic alive in their lives is an incredibly important job. Don't let the Grinch grab hold of your child and make him a non believer. Let that magic grow and thrive within your child making the holidays the most magical time of the year, forever. Merry Christmas!

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exists, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy.

When my son was little he asked his gram if she believed in Santa. She told him that when you stop believing in the magic, that's when the magic stops and Santa stops coming to your house. We passed that on to our daughter and both kids still believe in the magic and love that Christmas brings.
