Quints by Surprise season 2 is chock full of activity

TLC's favorite multiples family is back with season two of Quints by Surprise, and as Ryan, Britton, Jack, Brooklyn, and Lila get older, Ethan and Casey are ramping it up on the activity level.

The quints have turned 2 and are ready to go!

The second season premiered May 9, 2011 with "Mr. Mom," in which Ethan valiantly agrees to watch the quints while Casey takes big sister Eliot to Disney World. Ethan gets a glimpse into Casey's day to day life, albeit involving a little more pizza and fast food, and Casey relishes in some much needed one on one time with her oldest daughter.

This hilarious episode is a great start to a season that, although short, has been jam packed so far with new adventures for the Jones family. The quints have turned two, and Ethan and Casey get more and more brave in taking the quints out and about Austin and the surrounding areas. Subsequent episodes feature a camping trip, a trip to the San Antonio Zoo, a 5k run by the entire family, and more.

As season two progresses, the episodes revolve more around these special activities, but the show still lets us in on the trials of day to day life with quintuplets: packing for eight people for a one night trip, stomach viruses quickly passed from one child to the next, and the difficulties of being constantly outnumbered. It's easy to wonder how many of these undertakings would have occurred had it not been for the cameras, but the authenticity and sincerity of Ethan and Casey as a couple still shines through. They engage in playful banter during their interviews and even get Eliot involved in putting together a care package for a soldier in Iraq.
