Quinn Linzer is just 9 months old. She's at the age when parents enjoy the personality of their new little one beginning to become their own and watching their baby become a toddler.
For Brett and Eileen Linzer, the diagnosis of their daughter's Neimann-Pick Disease Type A changed the game completely. Instead of sitting idly by, however, they decided to create a to-do list for her. Quinn's List, on the Team Linzer blog, includes such activities as wearing a wedding gown and a trip to the Met. Ideas were cultivated from friends and loved ones, with blogs about her various adventures.
Since word of Quinn's List spread, she's been in news stories and on television. The adorable tot is smiling in this photo and is seen in a video on People.com.
These memories will not erase the pain Quinn's mother, father and two brothers will endure; but knowing their daughter lived "as wonderFULL a life as we could possibly give her" is their mission. And one in which they are succeeding with each new day they get to share with her.
