North Texas is being hit, once again, by another arctic blast of cold air! Schools and businesses closed all over north Texas today. Most of us have had our share of soups, stews, are various other cold weather dishes, because we have had our share of winter this year.
It seems like Texas is having an extra long recipe this year; so it is time to get a little creative with our cold weather dishes. Here is a recipe that is easy and maybe one you haven’t tried.
Chili Meat Loaf
What you will need:
- 2 pounds of lean ground beef
- 1 (15 oz) can of chili with beans
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 medium onion, chopped
Combine all ingredients. Shape into a loaf and place into a greased shallow baking dish; bake at 350 degrees for 1 ½ hours.
