Quick hits: Men's day two: RUS, CAN, AUS, NZL, BAN, NAM, ISR, CYP, TUR, ALB, DEN

Rotation six:

Luke Wadsworth, vault: Tsuk double full, not bad.

Alon Hasa, floor: Simple routine, not a lot of difficulty for this level.

Casey Sandy, pommel: 14.1.

Nathan Gafuik, pommel: Lots of cheers of "Go, Nate!" from around the arena...hit routine with full twisting double layout dismount. Very good!

Luke Wiwatowski, vault: Tsuk double full, not bad.

Joao Fuglsig, floor: OOB on first pass.

Joshua Jefferis, vault: Rudi.

Sergei Khorokhodin, pbars: Hit routine, double pike dismount.

Jackson Payne, pommel: Very nice routine! He hits. High fives all around.

Thomas Pichler, vault: DTY, quite good!

Sam Offord, vault: DTY, large step back.

Alexander Shatilov, high bar: Hit routine from what I saw...

Emin Garabov, pbars: Front toss. Half pirouette to double pike with small hop was all I saw.

Helge Vammen, floor: Dismounted with a double full.

Dimitrius Krasias, high bar: Very clean routine, and then has to put his hands down on full twisting double layout dismount.

Ferhat Arican, floor: Arabian double pike to open.

David Belyavskiy, pbars: Front double pike dismount! Stumbles backwards but somehow manages not to fall. Impressive skill. Triple full to end, stumbles around a bit on the floor.

Misha Koudinov, rings: 1.5 twisting double tuck dismount with a step. Looks dissatisfied with himself, as he did when he fell on it during the touch.

Denis Ablyazin, pbars: Small hesitation in handstand just before double pike dismount with a hop to the side.

Ken Ikeda, pommel horse: Hit routine!

Brandon O'Neill, pommel: Just does a touch, no routine...and thus endeth Canada's qualifying round.

Rotation five:

Notes: Prepare for a show from Russia on vault...

Emin Garabov, vault: Tsuk double full, basically stuck.

Casey Sandy, floor: 2.5 to front layout opener. Russians after second pass. Tucked Thomas. Front double full to end.

Nikita Ignatiev, vault: Handspring double front, terrific landing -- just a tiny hop.

Jackson Payne, floor: Whip to Arabian 1 3/4 layout. Thomas. Double full side pass. 1.5 to front layout full. 2.5 twist to a great landing!

David Belyavskiy, vault: Tsuk double pike, small hop back. Man...16.133.

Denis Ablyazin, vault: Even better Tsuk double pike. Awesome second vault -- roundoff, half on, front layout Rudi off, stuck. Great! Vault finals?

Nathan Gafuik, floor: Arabian double pike. Thomas side pass. Stuck 2.5 twist to end. The Canadians love it.

Kevin Lytwyn, floor: Beautiful whip half to double front. Tucked Thomas. Splits (nobody does that anymore. Why not?) Press. 2.5 twist to end.

Anton Golotsutskov, vault: Tsuk double pike with great landing, just a little hop. Second vault: Awesome Dragulescu

Brandon O'Neill, floor: Tucked double double, stuck, great. Layout Arabian 1 3/4. Thomas. Twisting side pass. Russians. Good 2.5 to front full. Whip half to front double full, got it around despite a little bit weak entry on the 1.5.

Alexander Shatilov, pbars: Very good routine! Double pike dismount.

Rotation four:

Quazi Caesar, floor: Double front full to front tuck half. Layout Thomas, a little wild rolling out. Rudi. I can't get over how taped up he is...

Joshua Jefferis, pommel: Didn't see it.

David Belyavskiy, rings: Good routine to start Russia off here. Full twisting double layout with a small hop forward. 14.166.

Alexander Shatilov, vault: Missed it! Shoot.

Dmitrius Krasias, vault: Tsuk full from the man from Cyprus.

Ferhat Arican, pbars: Nice clean routine. Double pike dismount.

Casey Sandy, high bar: I didn't see it, but the Canadians let out a mighty cheer...

Misha Koudinov, floor: Double front to begin, nice. 2.5 to front double full, very good! Has the eastern European look about his gymnastics. 2.5 to front tuck full, very good. Whip to Arabian 1 3/4 layout. Double full to end. Nice routine.

Luke Wadsworth, pommel: Weak beginning with his hips too low to the horse and may have brushed the pommel with his hips once, but it got better throughout.

Kfir Weiss, vault: Doesn't quite make the handspring double front.

Jackson Payne, high bar: Tak full to hecht over, good, full spin to layout Jaeger and a double double layout, with a small hop. Nice routine.

Patrick Peng, floor: Overrotates and falls backward on full in tuck and rolls off the floor mat. Really impressive gymnastics from him at this meet, however.

Nathan Gafuik, high bar: He fell on something early in the routine, but I didn't see what it was. Tak full to hecht over, inverts, stuck double double tuck dismount, but Canada could have used the score a hit routine would have brought in here. Shame for Nathan.

Prashanth Sellathurai, pommel: The two time World bronze medalist on this event doing his thing -- really impressive sequence between the pommels -- Russians and then, if that's not enough, regular circles. Great routine, and he gets a big round of applause afterwards. Another final? I think so.

Rotation three:

Luke Wadsworth, floor: 2.5 to front tuck full, OOB. Muscles punch front at end of second pass. Very good full in tuck to end, just a little hop.

Anton Golotsutskov, pommel: Hit routine. On his way off the podium looks and points at someone in the gallery, sending some kind of "See? Told you!" message, I thought.

Joao Fuglsig, vault: Crashed whatever it was he attempted.

Casey Sandy, pbars: Double pike dismount was the only thing I saw.

Sam Offord, floor: Very nice double layout, stuck. Foot slipped on takeoff to his handspring front layout to double front and he sat it down, though his hand might not have actually touched the floor.

Sergei Khorokhodin, pommel: Another hit routine.

Jackson Payne, pbars: Getting applause and encouragement from the Canadian contingent...moves quite well throughout the routine...double pike dismount, looked like a stick, and then he took one step, very small.

Emin Garabov: This routine gets a "wow" from Paul Ziert, sitting just a few seats away, so I assume it was good...but I didn't see it.

Alexander Shatilov, rings: Double double tuck dismount. Impressive from such a tall guy...

Joshua Jefferis, floor: Front full to front double full. Thomas. Layout Arabian 1 3/4 side pass.

Nathan Gafuik, pbars: Front somie to his hands, good...Stutz, and a stuck double pike! Canadians are whooping.

David Belyavskiy, pommel: Hit routine. Not bad at all for a guy so built like a power gymnast...

Ferhat Arican, vault: Tsuk double from Turkey's Youth Olympic Games vault medalist...

Alon Hasa, vault: Weak Tsuk full.

Misha Koudinov, high bar: Cowboyed but STUCK triple back. Double fist pump.

Luke Wiwatowski, floor: Good 2.5 to front layout full, small shuffle. OOB on a side pass. Layout Thomas. Full in tuck to another good landing!

Helge Vammen, vault: Layout Cuervo.

Nikita Ignatyev, pommel: Hit routine. Comes off the podium with a big smile.

Brandon O'Neill, pbars: Has to stand on the bars right after beginning his routine. Little Geniger. Double pike with some steps.

Thomas Pichler, floor: Whip to tucked Thomas side pass. 2.5 to front tuck full. Layout Thomas. 2.5 to weak front half, may have gone OOB on that as well...last pass is full in tuck with a hop back.

Rotation two

Emin Garabov, floor: OOB on double front mount. Full in tuck second pass, had plenty of room on that. Long flairs sequence, very good. Press. Wearing a bandage on his right knee. Whip to Arabian side pass. Russians. 2.5 twist, very good ending.

Sergei Khorokhodin, floor: Arabian double front with step. Double double tuck, very good. Running front 1 3/4. 2.5 to front layout full. Russians. Full in tuck. Very good routine from a team we've come to expect very good routines from on this event.

Casey Sandy, vault: DTY with a tiny little step, very good.

Ferhat Arican, rings: Falls on dismount.

Luke Wadsworth, high bar: Nice swing. Full twisting double layout.

Kevin Lytwyn, vault: Tsuk double, small step back. Two good vaults so far!

Misha Koudinov, pbars: Claps his hands after this exercise, looks happy.

Brandon O'Neill, vault: Tsuk 2.5, tiny step back. Great!

Nathan Gafuik, vault: Yurchenko 2.5, tiny step. Nice! Sits second vault, a handspring double front. So no vault finals. But a good team score has been locked in.

Anton Golotsutskov, floor: One foot OOB on double double layout -- shame! Huge complicated second pass that ends in full twisting front 1 3/4. A little style on a twisting single stag jump. 2.5 to front layout full, a little awkward. Full twisting double tuck, stuck, to end, however. Not sure with the OOB that he will make floor finals, but we'll see.

Ken Ikeda, vault: Crashed DTY. Not enough to get it around.

Thomas Pichler, high bar: Saw a Jaeger full in combination. Full twisting double layout dismount.

Joshua Jefferis, high bar: Long and complex routine. Double double layout. Missed his Tak half to handstand.

David Belyavskiy, floor: The double full in pike out that stunned everyone last year, tiny hop forward. Whip to layout Thomas. Tucked Thomas. Russians. 2.5 to front layout full to single stag jump. Triple twist to end, legs a little crossed in the air, but completely rotated and good landing.

Luke Wiwatowski, high bar: Makes a mistake and has to bend his arms and strangle a giant around. Kovacs, caught a little too close and has to bend his arms again on the next giant. Full twisting double layout dismount.

Mathias Lee Hansen, rings: Falls on full twisting double tuck dismount.

Denis Ablyazin, floor: Whip to Thomas, OOB. Double double layout second pass! 2.5 to Rudi, nice. Tucked Thomas, practically bounces off the floor. A little awkward in his movement out of it. Double pike front side pass! 2.5 to front layout full, again a little rough on the landing. Triple full to end, fairly big step forward. That was like every hard skill you can do on floor, all in one routine. But I still don't think it'll make finals.

Subdivsion seven, rotation one

Anton Golotsutskov, high bar: Kovacs, caught a little close, small form break on giant after. Tkatchev layout. Break on hop full of all things. Stuck full twisting double layout. Hmmm...

Casey Sandy, rings: Great double double tuck dismount with good landing, just a small hop.

Dmitrius Krasias, floor: Front handspring, front layout, front 1 3/4 to open.

Patrick Peng, vault: Terrific Tsuk 2.5 with a very small hop. Rudi with a small hop. Two very good vaults from this New Zealander...

Nathan Gafuik, rings: Cross. Double front tuck, double front pike. Double double tuck dismount with small hop delights the Canadians in the audience.

David Belyavskiy, high bar: Nailed his full twisting double layout dismount...1.5 twisting double tuck with a hop. No misses so far from the Canadians...

Jackson Payne, rings: Definitely the strongest of the Canadians so far...

Sam Offord, pbars: Celebrated a hit routine with a double fist pump after his dismount.

Quasi Caesar, vault: A gymnast who is taped within an inch of his life -- legs, elbows, ankles, you name it, does a very nice Tsuk double full and looks really pleased.

Emin Garabov, high bar: Taller guy, this new Russian Cup champion.

Luke Wiwatowski, pbars: Great routine, stuck double pike dismount. High fives the coach. He's jazzed!

Alexander Shatilov, floor: The tall 2009 World bronze medalist takes the stage...double full in pike out! 1.5 to full twisting front 1 3/4. Front double full to Rudi? Something like that. 2.5 to front tuck full. Whip to tucked Thomas. Full in with a step back. Shatilov is totally pumped.

Sergei Khorokhodin, high bar: Kolman, good. Full twisting double layout, small hop. Hm.

Joshua Jefferis, pbars: 14.533.

Nikita Ignatyev, high bar: Double double layout dismount. Not a lot of jaw dropping difficulty in any of these Russian routines, it seemed like, aside from the dismounts. Both the Germans and Americans are a lot more eye-catching here.

Ken Ikeda, rings: I think he just did a touch on this event...
