Easter is quickly coming upon us . . . do you create Easter baskets for people in your lives? I've seen baskets that have a combination of things in them: things to do or use, as well as the traditional sweet, colorful things to eat. I think that these days, people are wanting to make those sweet things really count. If you get it together, you still have time to order up some super-cute sweet macarons from Dana's Bakery. I was happy to be hosted to experience them!
The special flavors for Easter are definitely pretty and would look great in a basket. Dana's Bakery features classic American flavors in what's a quintessential French treat.
Creme Egg is a crispy and tender version of the favorite candy. Beautifully sunny yellow outside, it has a milky chocolate filling and cream center. It's not gooey or sticky.
Marshmallow Peep is girly pink, with a fresh, sweet flavor. The textures of the macarons are excellent; this a high quality product.
Peanut Butter Chocolate is the flavor of the month and an Easter pick. Bright violet, it's got a rich flavor and rich center. The peanutiness holds its own with the chocolate.
