Quick chili recipe to prepare

Spicy thick chili is wonderful on a cold night. The recipe below is simple and quick to prepare. A crock pot can be used for this recipe. Just brown the beef and onions, place in the crock pot along with the other ingredients and let cook on low for 6 hours.

Quick & Easy Chili


  • 3 lb. ground beef (lean)
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 2 regular size cans of Ranch Style Beans
  • 1 regular size can of dark red kidney beans
  • 1 pkg. chili seasoning mix
  • 1 large can vegetable juice
  • 2 regular size cans of diced tomatoes (not drained)


In Dutch oven brown ground beef and onions. Add beans, chili seasoning, vegetable juice and tomatoes, stir. Simmer on low heat for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. If the chili gets too thick add some water during cooking.

Top with cheese and serve with tortilla chips, crackers or cornbread.
